2016年4月，Lars Peter Hansen, 2013年諾貝爾經濟學獎得主訪問上海交通大學，并發表演講：“The Economic Impact of Uncertainty in a Changing Environment”(不確定性在變動環境中對經濟的影響)。

2013年3月，Alvin Roth，2012年諾貝爾經濟學獎得主與Christopher A. Pissarides，2010年諾貝爾經濟學獎得主同時訪問上海交通大學，并發表演講。

2010年8月，James Mirrlees, 1996年諾貝爾經濟學獎得主出席上海交通大學和世界計量經濟學會共同舉辦的第十屆世界經濟學大會，并在全體大會上發表主題演講：“Mirrlees Review: Reforming the tax systemfor the 21st century”

2010年1月，Vernon Smith，1999年諾貝爾經濟學獎得主訪問上海交通大學史密斯實驗經濟學研究中心，發表演講："Housing/MortgageBubbles and Depressions: 1997-2010 and 1925-1934"（房地產泡沫和經濟蕭條：1997-2010以及1925-1934”）。

2009年5月，Paul Krugman，2008年諾貝爾經濟學獎得主在上海交通大學發表演講：“Afterthe crisis”(危機后的世界經濟格局)。

2008年7月，EricMaskin，2007年諾貝爾經濟學獎得主在上海交通大學發表演講：Theory of MechanismDesign"（機制設計理論）。
